Your Toyota Camry knows how to roll in style, and so do you. Get your roll on at these great bowling alleys in the Salisbury, NC area. If you haven’t gotten into a league or given bowling a serious try before, now is the time!

Three Bowling Alleys You Can Drive to From Salisbury, NC

Woodleaf Lanes

This place is so famous that the local bus stop is named for it! You’ll find it at 1811 Jake Alexander Blvd W, and they open up from noon until 11pm most nights and from noon until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. This is a great place to go with friends or family. It’s clean, has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a delicious grill serving up amazing food all night.

Woodleaf Lanes offers space for parties, holds tournaments, and has a number of leagues you can join. You can also hang out and watch sports at their sports bar, though please drink responsibly and in moderation. The pizza here is top-notch, and the kids will love their chicken strips, burgers, and fries. We also recommend the corndog nuggets, Philly cheesesteak, and hot wings.

YMCA Bowling Center

The Woodleaf Lanes have Salisbury covered, but if you want something very inexpensive, fun, and simple, head north on I-85 about 18 miles to 117 W 3rd Ave in Lexington, NC, to the J. Smith Young UMCA. They are very reasonably priced, and this spot will also allow you to host up to 50 people for two hours of bowling for birthday parties at a much-reduced rate compared to most lanes.

It’s just a couple bucks a game here, and the atmosphere and staff are great. It’s a safe and fun spot to take the kids, too. If you do want to host a party here, though, be sure to call in advance and book it: (336) 249-2177.

FoxFire Lanes

About 15 miles south on 85, FoxFire lanes is great fun. They’re at 225 Security St in Kannapolis, and they’re open until 10pm most nights. On Friday, they stay open until midnight, and on Saturday, they’re open until 1am. They hold special Homeschool Fridays and free bowling any time for students with a report card showing all As.

Expect good prices, friendly staff, and a family-friendly atmosphere most of the time. Just be aware that they only serve a very limited menu until 5pm: basically just nachos and ice cream treats. They also host some leagues and tournaments, and they have fun “after-hours lock-ins” if you want to do something unusual with the gang one night.

Make sure your ride is ready to take you for all the bowling fun. Visit us at Cloninger Toyota any time for the best in service and maintenance on your Toyota!
