As a sharable appetizer, we recommend the Texas Twinkies, made from chopped brisket and cream cheese stuffed into jalapeno peppers, then wrapped in candied bacon and smoked. Sandwiches and tacos are available with pork, chicken, or brisket and are perfect for a smaller appetite. The real meat, if you pardon the pun, of their menu is the Texas barbecue served family-style. Brisket, sausages, pork ribs, and a variety of sides are served and refilled as you need more. Smoke Pit is open daily from 11 am to 9 pm.
El Patron Mexican Grill & Cantina
This far from the border, you might wonder about the authenticity of Mexican food. El Patron certainly doesn’t disappoint. As soon as you take your first bite, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Mexico.
