2021 Toyota Tacoma vs. 2021 RAM 1500

2021 Toyota Tacoma vs. 2021 RAM 1500

Overview

Two of the industry's leading truck manufacturers, Toyota and RAM, produced two powerful pickups that offer something for every driver. If you're considering either the 2021 Tacoma or the RAM 1500, use this guide to help you make a decision.

Interior

Both trucks offer plenty of interior comfort, and although the RAM 1500 can fit six people compared to the Tacoma's five, the Tacoma offers more legroom for front-seat travelers. The Tacoma also offers high-quality materials throughout the cabin, and most trims come standard with a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat.

Fuel Tank Size

Admit it: you probably don't like heading to the gas station often to put gas in your vehicle. The Tacoma has a massive 38-gallon tank, while the RAM 1500 has a 26-gallon tank. As a result, drivers of the RAM 1500 will have to stop and fuel up more frequently.

Infotainment System

Although the RAM 1500 comes with one of the easiest infotainment systems to operate, it's featured on a 5-inch touch-screen display. The Tacoma's system features a user-friendly 7-inch touch-screen display, but you can upgrade to an 8-inch one. Also, the Tacoma's system comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but these are only offered as upgrades on the 1500.
