2020 Toyota 4Runner Specs
The Toyota 4Runner is built to conquer the off-road trails. It offers two different 4WD systems. The full-time system features a Torsen® limited-slip locking center differential to keep those wheels spinning at the same rate.
You can choose from four terrain modes via Multi-terrain Select, which makes challenging terrain easier to tackle. Meanwhile, Crawl Control takes charge of your throttle and brakes to keep you moving at low but constant speeds. You’ll be free to focus on steering.
The 4Runner is powered by a 4.0-liter V6 with 270 horsepower on tap. It lends you the muscle to tow up to 5,000 pounds. Leave less behind when you embark on adventure!
New Toyota Safety Features
The 2020 4Runner makes great strides in safety this year. It does so by making Toyota Safety Sense™ P a standard feature across the lineup. This driver-assisting suite can help you travel with more awareness and avoid or mitigate accidents. Enjoy standard technologies such as:
- Automatic High Beams
- Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
- Lane Departure Alert
- Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
You can drive at a preset distance from the vehicle ahead; your speed will adjust automatically to keep pace. Plus, if you start drifting from your lane, you’ll receive a visual and audio warning to steer back to your center. Those Automatic High Beams will also adjust on their own—no need to lift a finger!
Connect Like Never Before
This version of the Toyota 4Runner offers more standard technology than ever before. Slide inside, and you can find a suite of advanced features via the Audio Multimedia infotainment system. It now comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen as well as smartphone connectivity.
With Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, you can pair your phone with the system and use all your apps from the touchscreen. Send texts, make calls, and manage your playlists with the swipe of a finger! Keep your eyes on the road and control your favorite features all at once.
Additionally, you can give your adventures a soundtrack with the JBL® with Clari-Fi® audio system. This sound system is available on higher trim levels and has 15 speakers for your entertainment.
