If you’re unfamiliar with MPG ratings, they’re made to measure how many miles a vehicle can travel per gallon of gas. So basically, the higher the MPG rating the more fuel efficient your vehicle is going to be and the less stops you’ll have to make at the gas station to fuel up.

There are ten different trim levels offered with the 2019 Camry, and the fuel efficiency rating is going to vary depending on which one you end up choosing. Here we’ll break down the city, highway, and combined MPG ratings so you can have a better understanding of where each one stands.

In the Camry L you’re going to get an MPG rating of 29 city, 41 highway, and 34 combined.¹ In the LE, XLE, SE, and XSE, you’re going to get a 28 MPG city, 39 MPG highway, and 32 MPG combined¹ rating. Over in the Camry XLE V6, and Camry XSE V6, you’re going to find a 22 MPG city, 32 MPG highway, and 26 MPG combined¹ rating.

Moving on to the Hybrid trims, the Camry Hybrid LE has a 51 MPG city, 53 MPG highway, and 52 MPG combined¹ rating. The Camry Hybrid SE and XLE have 44 MPG city, 47 MPG highway, and 46 MPG combined¹ ratings.

Engine Specs

In the 2019 Corolla you’ll get a standard 2.5L Dynamic Force 4-Cylinder engine which produces 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque capabilities. The available 2.5L Dynamic Force 4-Cylinder with Dual VVT-i and ECO, Normal, and Sport drive modes engine produces 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.

The available 3.5L V6 engine produces 301 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque capabilities. Finally, the Hybrid engine, the available 2.5L 4-Cylinder produces 176 horsepower and 163 lb-ft of torque.
