2022 Toyota Supra

The Supra comes in 2.0, 3.0, and 3.0 Premium trim levels, plus a A91-CF edition. The standard colors are the chill shades of Absolute Zero White, a black Nocturnal, the silver hue of Tungsten, and Turbulence Gray. Bright colors of Nitro Yellow and Renaissance Red 2.0 round up the choices. Wheels on the Supra vary by trim. The baseline 2.0 has high-performance Michelin Pilot Super Sport summer tires of 18 inches, while the Premium trim sports high-performance Michelin Pilot Super Sport summer tires of 19 inches. The Supra has a limited edition called the A91-CF, but this is only offered at 600 units. The A91-CF has different wheels of 19 inches and premium colors both inside and out.

The Supra 2.0 model is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-4 cylinder. Higher trims such as the 3.0 and 3.0 Premium feature a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 cylinder with an 8-speed automatic.

With the 2.0 model with its 2.0-liter turbo-four, the Supra creates 255 horsepower and 295-pound-feet of torque. For the 3.0-liter inline-6, the Supra creates 382 horsepower and 386-pound-feet of torque for the Premium trim. Both the 255 horsepower and 382 horsepower give the Supra sprightly acceleration. In terms of suspension, the Supra has a double-jointed front strut suspension, five-link rear suspension, and wide tires for good road grip and sharp moves on corners.

The Supra has two bucket seats and forgoes a back seat. The cargo space is 10.2 cubic feet, as competitive as a hatchback. While legroom is cramped, the seats have good bolstering with either eight or 14-way adjustments to dial in comfort. For infotainment, the Supra has a lightly reskinned version of BMW's iDrive interface. The central display is an 8.8-inch unit. A digital gauge display is a standard across the trim ranges. While navigation and Apple CarPlay capability are both available, the Android Auto isn't offered. For its optional features, a 12-speaker JBL audio system is available. However, given the small size of the Supra interior, drivers might opt for the standard 10-speaker audio system. The standard Supra interior color is black. The Supra has standard heated seats in 3.0 models and a red interior scheme for the 3.0 Premium.

The Supra has numerous safety features. For its brake features, the Supra has four-wheel anti-lock brakes. The Supra has several air bag safety features. Featuring front impact driver and passenger air bags, the Supra has driver side seat mounted impact airbags, a passenger side seat-mounted impact air bag, and an overhead curtain first-row air bag, as well as driver and passenger knee bags. Offering a front anti-roll bar and electronic stability, the Supra keeps the vehicle steady. Adding to driver and passenger safety are side-impact beams. Seatbelt pretensioners round out driver and front passenger safety. For illumination safety, the Supra has daytime running lights and a center high mounted stop light. A child seat sensor helps keep children safe.
