2021 Toyota Prius Prime

The 2021 Toyota Prius Prime is available to you in three distinct trim levels, LE, XLE, and Limited. All three come with LED taillights and stop lights, LED daytime running lights with an on/off feature, and heated outside mirrors with a folding feature. They roll down the road on 15-inch alloy wheels with two-tone wheel covers and offer a color-keyed roof-mounted shark-fin antenna. The LE has quad-LED projector headlights with an auto-off feature, while the XLE and Limited up that to quad-LED projector headlights with auto on/off feature. The Limited also adds LED foglights to the line-up.

Under the hood of the 2021 Prius Prime is one engine option. A 1.8-liter four-cylinder aluminum DOHC 16-valve powers the Prius Prime with variable valve timing with intelligence (VVT-i). This engine produces 95 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 105 pound-feet of torque at 3,600 rpm. Spend less time at the pump and more time on the road with this incredibly fuel-efficient plug-in hybrid. The Prius Prime even offers an estimated 25-mill all-electric driving range.

Several performance-enhancing features give the Prius Prime a better driving experience. All three trims offer an independent MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars to provide you with a smooth, comfortable ride. The front-wheel-drive drivetrain allows you to have control over the road. Selectable drive modes such as EV, eco, and power let you further customize your driving experience to match road conditions or personal preferences.

Inside the 2021 Toyota Prius Prime, comfort and convenience have been combined to offer both drivers and passengers a little extra. All three trims offer a smart-flow climate control system with air pollen filtration, an integrated backup camera, a front 12-volt auxiliary power outlet, and a charging cable for a standard 120-volt outlet. The LE has fabric-trimmed heated front seats, a six-way adjustable driver's seat, and 4-way adjustable front passenger seat. The XLE and Limited up this to SofTex-trimmed heated front seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat with power lumbar support, and a 4-way adjustable passenger seat.

Toyota understands that safety is a top priority for purchasing a new vehicle and has a plethora of driver assistance and safety features to that end. Each Prius Prime comes with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite of safety features, including a lane departure alert with steering assist, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, and lane tracing assist. Full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control, automatic high beams, and road sign assist round out the suite of features. On the Limited, you also get a color head-up display and intelligent clearance sonar with intelligent parking assist.
