2021 Toyota Land Cruiser

There are two trim options available on the 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser. The base trim level is the Base. It's available in four shades of gray or dark exterior color. It's equipped with 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and includes an aluminum spare wheel. A roof rack is standard on the Land Cruiser, and it has a max capacity of 154 pounds. Other exterior features on the base trim level include heated and power-folding side mirrors, two front tow hooks, a rear tow hook, a chrome grille, and skid plates.

The second and last available trim level is the Heritage Edition. This trim is also only available in four exterior colors. It includes many of the same visual features as the Base trim. However, it does add a dark chrome grille and turn signal indicators in the side mirrors. Lastly, the Heritage Edition includes bronze BBS forged aluminum wheels for added visual flair on the road.

Both trims are equipped with the same engine configuration, and there are no optional engine configurations available. The 2021 Land Cruiser features a stocky V-8 engine with a maximum output of 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. This all translates to plenty of power when you need it most.

In terms of performance, the 2021 Land Cruiser doesn't disappoint. Both the Base and Heritage Edition trims include a four-wheel-drive system and no options for rear-wheel drive, meaning you can always count on added power and traction on tricky road conditions regardless of trim level. The Land Cruiser features an eight-speed automatic transmission with overdrive as well as an auto/manual feature that allows drivers to change gears manually if they so choose.

As far as towing capacity goes, the Land Cruiser competes with some pickup trucks thanks to its total towing range of up to 8,100 pounds. The SUV also features multiple drive modes that can make driving in different road conditions easier.

The base-trim Land Cruiser interior features seating for up to eight passengers, while the Heritage Edition includes configurations for both five and eight passengers. The SUV includes many luxurious features such as a leather-trimmed and heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats with heating included as well. Four climate zones allow all passengers to select the temperature that's right for them. The center console gives drivers and passengers access to all kinds of entertainment and useful information. The integrated navigation system gets you where you're going effectively.

There are a host of great safety features on the 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser. It's equipped with the TSS-P driver assistance suite, which includes adaptive cruise control, pre-collision mitigation with pedestrian detection, lane change monitoring, and automatic high beams.
