The Scion tC is a well-equipped yet affordable coupe that benefits from Toyota's attention to quality, durability and reliability. It is marketed towards the young first-time buyer looking for a sporty coupe.The tC is powered by a 180-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, paired with a six-speed manual transmission; a six-speed automatic with manual shift mode is optional, while an electronic power-assist steering system contributes to increased fuel efficiency. It is offered in a standard well equipped trim, or a limited edition Release Series 8.0 trim. Notable features include a panorama sunroof, 18-inch aluminum wheels, air conditioning and cruise control, as well as power windows, mirrors and door locks. The tC's Pioneer sound system features HD Radio, Bluetooth audio streaming, MP3 capability and direct iPod connectivity, along with a regular auxiliary jack for other types of portable music devices. Standard safety equipment includes stability and traction control systems, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, eight airbags, tire pressure monitoring and a first aid kit.For 2013 the Scion tC carries over with minimal changes.

On the move, the tC feels eager to run. The big reason (literally) for the tC's puppylike demeanor is its 2.4-liter inline four.High-quality materials abound, and features such as metallic accents, damped compartment doors, height- and thigh-adjustments for the driver seat and an outside temperature display further this impression.
